Apna Institute

Terms of Service

Last updated: 31 October 2026

These terms explain how you may use Apna Institute, the app and web portal that institutes use to manage attendance, fees, notices and reports. By creating an account or using the service you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use it.

1. Who uses the service

An institute owner registers the institute. The owner then adds teachers and students, who get their own logins. People who use the service through an institute are subject to that institute's rules as well as these terms.

  • The owner is responsible for the people they add and for having the right to add them. Students are often children: add a student only with the consent of the student's parent or guardian, as described in the Privacy Policy.
  • You must give correct information when you register and keep it up to date.

2. Your account

Keep your password private and tell us at once if you think someone else has used your account. You are responsible for what happens under your account. We may suspend an account that is used to break these terms or to harm others.

3. Your institute's data

The attendance, fee, student and other records an institute enters belong to that institute. We use them only to provide the service, as described in the Privacy Policy. The service is a tool: the institute is responsible for checking that its records are correct, and for keeping any records it must keep by law.

4. Acceptable use

Do not use the service to:

  • do anything unlawful, or send notices that are abusive, misleading or harmful;
  • try to see another institute's data or to get around the limits of your role;
  • copy, scrape or overload the service, or attack its security;
  • pretend to be someone else.

5. Free trial, subscriptions and payments

A new institute starts with a 7-day free trial. After that a paid plan is needed to keep using the institute's features. Plans bought in the app are bought through Google Play, which handles payment, renewal and cancellation. When a trial or plan ends, access to the institute's features may be limited until it is renewed. See the Refund & Subscription Policy for cancelling and refunds.

6. Availability and changes

We work to keep the service available and correct, but we cannot promise it will always be free of errors or interruptions. We may change, add or remove features, and we will try to tell you about changes that matter.

7. Our responsibility

The service is provided "as is". As far as the law allows, we are not responsible for indirect or consequential loss, such as lost fees or lost profit, and our total responsibility for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits a right you have by law that cannot be limited.

8. Ending your use

You can stop using the service at any time and can ask for your account and data to be deleted on the account deletion page. We may end or suspend access if these terms are broken.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The new version is posted on this page with its date. If you keep using the service after a change, you accept the new terms.

10. Law and contact

These terms are governed by the laws of India. For any question, write to support@manaslabs.in.
